KAYA TUNCER
is the Chairman and CEO of ESBAS, the company which develops and operates the Aegean Free Zone--the foremost industrial park in Turkey. Mr. Tuncer is also the founder of Space Camp Turkey, which opened in June of 2000. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley, and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Tuncer received the prestigious 2004 Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his philanthropic work with Space Camp Turkey’s Global Friendship Through Space Education foundation.

MARY TUNCER
is the Program Coordinator for the Global Friendship Through Space Education foundation and the Partner School Science Program. Mrs Tuncer has a B.A. in French and a Secondary Teaching Credential from the University of California, Berkeley. She has eight years of experience working as an educator in California middle schools and cooperative preschools in California and Saudi Arabia.
