The students of Dokuz Eylul Special Education and Rehabilitation Center toured the Space Camp Turkey facility located in the Aegean Free Zone. Students explored the Mars Exhibit area, 1/6th gravity chair, and the zero gravity wall while also checking out the interior of the Discovery Space Shuttle Mockup. Physical education teacher Mahmut Cinci, who is employed at the center where special education is offered to individuals whose individual characteristics and educational qualifications differ from their peers for various reasons, stated that they came to Space Camp Turkey with 9 students and were extremely pleased with the tour.
