14 moderate to severely mentally handicapped children participants of the cooking competition organized by the Izmir professional chefs association, visited Space Camp Turkey as a part of the IBATECH fair.

“Special students” coming from the İzmir Karabağlar Şehit Lütfü Gülşen Special Education Application Center were informed about the Generation Mars Interactive Exhibit and hydroponic laboratory, while learning about simulators and exploring the space shuttle together with their chaperones and the Space Camp Turkey Counselors. The tour which was organized by Space Camp Turkey’s founding company ESBAS’s (Aegean Free Zone Development & Operating CO.) Food Establishments Division and Izmir Cooks Association ended with a hamburger menu for the participants.
