MARTYRS’ CHILDREN AT SPACE CAMP - May 2, 2018

As a part of the “Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative” conducted by Turkish Airlines and the cooperation of Space Camp Turkey, a group of 23 people consisting of Efrin martyrs’ children and chaperones have visited Space Camp Turkey.

SPACE WISH BECAME TRUE - January 10, 2018

Melike A’s (10) dream of coming to Space Camp Turkey came true with the cooperation of Pegasus Airlines and Make-A-Wish Foundation. The project which is organized by the volunteer employees of Pegasus Airlines and Make-A-Wish Foundation, aims to fulfill the dreams of children struggling with life-threatening illnesses. Melike’s dreams came true with Space Camp Turkey’s support to the project.

KIDS WITH DOWN SYNDROME VISITED SPACE CAMP TURKEY - December 7, 2017

Space Camp Turkey organized a special program to 14 students with Down syndrome coming from Ahmet Şefika Kilimci Special Education Application Center. Students toured the Space Station Module and the Discovery Space Shuttle Simulator located at the training center while learning about stars in the digital planetarium. Students were under the supervision of four teachers and two vice-principals. The tour which was organized under the collaborative work of Space Camp Turkey's main company founder ESBAS’s Food Establishments Unit and Izmir Association of Cooks, ended with hamburger menu catering to children.

A VISIT TO SPACE CAMP BY LIBRARY LOVERS - April 1, 2016

With the organization of the Gaziemir County Public Library, group of 50 visitors took a tour at Space Camp Turkey. The tour was organized as a part of the "National Library Week" events celebrated between March 28 and April 3, 2016 this year.

VETERAN VISITORS OF SPACE CAMP - March 23, 2015

18 retired teachers that have graduated from Village Institutes have visited Space Camp Turkey. The veteran teachers who showed that there is no age for learning were informed all about the International Space Station, walking on the surface of the Moon, weightlessness, and loss of control in space. After a one-hour camp tour, the speakers of the group, Ali Sözer and Turgut Dereli said "Thank you very much for the hospitality you showed us during our visit to Space Camp as a group of retired teachers. We left happy and informed. It was a very interesting experience for us. "

SPACE" TOUR FROM THE READERS IN GAZİEMİR - April 4, 2014

Gaziemir County Public Library members visited Space Camp Turkey and ESBAŞ as a part of the 50th Library Week celebrated between March 31 and April 6. The 25-member group of students and librarians, who benefited the most from the library, the students most determined by the Provincial Directorate of Education of the Gaziemir District Public Library, and the students and librarians who read the books the most, attended the special program in SCT. Gaziemir District Public Library Officer Atilla Aküzüm said "Within the scope of the 50th anniversary of the library week, which had the theme of 'Lifelong Learning Libraries', 25 lucky visitors were chosen from our district to visit Space Camp Turkey and ESBAS”.

LOSEV VISITS SPACE CAMP TURKEY - January 28, 2013

21 children from the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV) Izmir Branch, visited Space Camp Turkey. The tour was organized as a social responsibility project by Yaşar University students Deniz Kayıran and İlknur Yilmaz. The students learned about astronaut simulators and how the space shuttles went to space. LOSEV Social Services Unit Officer Ceren Demirci mentioned that similar social projects have been done in previous years and said "Children lived an extraordinary experience at Space Camp Turkey. We would like to thank Yasar University and Space Camp Turkey for their support in making this trip possible”.
