The project, which has Space Camp Türkiye in collaboration with Izmir Community Policing, brought together a total of 300 students from all around Türkiye to attend the special promotional tour at Space Camp Türkiye. Students, divided in groups of 30 people, participated in one-hour long special tours organized on different periods of the month. They had the chance to learn how astronauts and cosmonauts were working in space and explored the astronaut simulators. Community Supported Policing Branch Manager Zeynep Derse said “The children living in disadvantaged regions, who did not have the opportunity to participate in this event with their own means, visited Space Camp and the abstract information in their heads were made concrete and the children had the pleasure of having a nice day. We would like to thank the central executives and employees who made a great contribution to our project and provided free participation of the students.
