The students participating in Space Camp Türkiye’s Galactic Summer Camp Program on July 22-28, received training about disaster communications and wireless operation from the officials of Turkish Amateur Radio Association (TRAC) Izmir branch.

While the students were informed by TRAC, the first volunteer organization to serve in the field of disasters and emergencies in Türkiye, they found the opportunity to observe a “HAM Radio” connection and even experience it by using specific codes.
